Questions & Answers

Common Parent Questions

I want you to feel completely confident before you book. Here are the questions parents ask most.

What happens if there's a medical emergency?

I'm CPR-certified and trained to stay calm. For anything serious I call 911 immediately, then you right away. Before you leave, I always confirm your emergency contacts, your home address, and the nearest hospital — so nothing is left to memory in a stressful moment.

How do you keep us updated while you're sitting?

I'll send you a quick text update — usually with a photo — about 30–45 minutes after you leave, then again if anything comes up. You can text me any time and I always respond promptly. You'll never be left wondering how things are going.

What ages of children do you sit for?

I work best with children ages 3–10. I'm comfortable with toddlers who are past the infant stage and especially great with early-elementary age kids who love activities, games, and being creative.

How far in advance should I book?

A few days ahead is ideal, especially for weekend evenings when I fill up quickly. That said, I'll always do my best to accommodate last-minute requests — just reach out and ask. I reply to every message within 24 hours.

Do you bring activities, or use what we have at home?

Both! I come with ideas and some supplies for arts and crafts, outdoor games, and activities. I'm also happy to follow your family's existing routine and use what you already have at home. Just let me know your preferences when you book.

What if I need to cancel?

Life happens — absolutely no problem. Just let me know as soon as you can so I can adjust my schedule. There's no cancellation fee. I'd rather you feel comfortable reaching out than stress about it.
