1. About This Site and Its Operator

Ricky Burd Babysitting is a personal babysitting service provided by Rhiannon Rose Burd, a minor. This Site is published and legally managed by Matt Burd, her parent and legal guardian, who holds all responsibility for data handling, privacy compliance, and legal communications on behalf of this Site.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

When you submit a contact or booking inquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (if provided)
  • First names and ages of the children you are seeking care for (provided by you as the parent or guardian — not collected directly from children)

  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time on each page

  • General geographic location (city/region level only, derived from IP address)

This data is collected through Google Analytics 4 and standard web server logs. It does not personally identify you on its own.

c) Payment Information

Payments are processed directly between parties via cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle. We do not collect, store, or process payment card numbers or bank account details on this Site. Venmo and Zelle transactions are governed by the privacy policies of those third-party platforms.

When you provide the names and ages of your children in a booking inquiry, that information is submitted by you as a parent or guardian on behalf of your children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through this Site without parental consent, please contact us immediately at parents@rickyburd.com and we will delete that information without delay.

8. Data Retention

Contact and booking inquiry data is retained for a period of up to twelve (12) months following your last communication with us, or until the conclusion of any active babysitting engagement, whichever is later. After that period, data is deleted or anonymized unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting parents@rickyburd.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
